Zaful 💗 💖 💗

Recently I was lucky enough to be contacted by a company called Zaful. They gave me a gift card to use on their website and at first I was apprehensive but I was nicely surprised by their great customer service. So here are a few of the photos I took of the products they sent (just the jumper + the top). Enjoyy!

Merry Christmas! ❤️ 🎄

Everyone says it each year, but this year has truly been a whirlwind and swept around rather quickly. To celebrate the end of 2016, which has been a odd year to say the least, I decided to post some somewhat Christmas-y/ recent photos...
+ of course, to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!
❤️

If the sky is pink and white

23rd November 2016 was the classic autumnal day, which I have been recently missing. The clouds are beginning to gather pretty densely above Oxford, which means that bursts of rain have been occurring pretty spontaneously. Although it does mark the end to Autumn, it also marks the beginning of the festive season so I can't really complain...

Because you make me feel alive, in spite of rising water

Got to scroll down for the real deal...
(nothing that special there really)
I am very good at enticing readers, no (?)

n.b I am very just being lazy, sorry

You look like you've been for breakfast, At the Heartbreak Hotel and sat in the back booth, By the pamphlets and the literature

Well, the election was a table turner to say the least and I hope I'm not alone when saying that I am hugely disappointed by the turn out. As much as I want to speak out about this, I feel like the feelings are too raw and mixed so it may be a little bit rushed to get in to it. However we can look at the positives and remember the quote: 'it is better to light a candle than curse the darkness', as we aim to move past this situation...

Wake up, it's no use pretending

So you know how I said that I was going to do a fancy new post or what not? Well, that turned out to fail since I caught a cold but on the positive side it is the last week before October Half Term which means finally some sleep! I didn't want to be a complete let down and go back on my word already, so I thought I'd throw in some past photos from the summer and the past month...

How many times can a man turn his head? And pretend that he just doesn't see? The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind The answer is blowin' in the wind

Whilst writing my university application it dawned upon me how much I had neglected blogging and so here's a revival post. This is quite a heavy visual post, so I am sorry if that's boring but I hope not it won't be. Most of them are of the summer, which is actually kind of upsetting now that the temperature has suddenly dropped to below 10 degrees and I'm missing that sun-beamed feeling. But I guess I shouldn't be that surprised since it is the middle of October now (scroll right to the bottom to avoid all the photos- I won't be offended...or even know you have).

I was painting a picture, the picture was a painting of you

Irresistible Me: Ruby Hair Curler

Recently, I was lucky enough to be contacted by a lovely company called 'Irresistible Me'. They sell a variety of hair products, of which they gifted me a hair curler called 'Ruby'. In this post I'll be doing a little overview of my thoughts on this product...

Bristol Bound

Today was such a lovely day, whoop! I managed to spare some time to look at the gorgeous city of Bristol and it's University...

I got my hopes up again, oh no... not again, feels like we only go backwards darling

Since I've been quite busy lately, I haven't had much time to take photos or do anything much other than revising. So here are a few photos from Tumblr that are my favourites, but there's also a random photo of me near the end somewhere aha. Hopefully I'll be in the swing of things soon, and Emma's back today whoop!

And you feel like an ocean, Being warmed by the sun

So recently, I've been adoring simplistic jewellery pieces and you may have noticed that I've gathered quite  a collection from Lyla Loves, a gorgeous online site to pick up some fav pieces which are super affordable. You can even use a code of 'freedel' for free delivery which is a super handy one...

Yours is the first face that I saw, I think I was blind before I met you

Girls will be boys and boys will be girls

A wonderful day in London with Emma and Kumbirai, also a summary of last week...

Diary 1.0

Sadly though the sun has been out, I've had little time to take outfit photos or do anything of much excitement but revision. Although saying that I did have a great Oreo McFlurry today- what has my life come to? So whilst I was procrastinating I decided to accumulate a bunch of photos from the past winter months to celebrate the final end of the coldness (fingers crossed)...

Remember How This Used To Be

The sun has finally made an appearance after months of grim weather. This year is surprisingly going super fast, although the past week has been relatively calm compared to all the rest (with mock exams etc) which explains the absence from posting but I'm back on it. Although I really ought to start revising probably, hmm... my priorities are so bad at the moment...

Cambridge

For a little weekend trip, a few friends and I headed down to Cambridge to attend one of the University master classes to see what it might be like to study there. On the way, of course, I took a ton of photos so here are a few of that little voyagé. Hope they are some what enjoyable...

I think I'm in a love with a girl who lives, two doors down

Recently though it's been the half term, I feel like the days are going by so soon and I can't believe that it's already mid February. Here are some shots from earlier this month when I met up with Hannah and Emma at Brew (a fav coffee shop!)...

for the love, comes the burning young

The warmth of spring is finally making an appearance and the chilly winter days are fading away slowly. A while back during the holidays my family went down to the meadows for a nice little break and I thought I'd share a few photos from that day...

Warwick Avenue- Duffy

Here's a little outfit that has been a constant favourite of this month. A key piece of course being the class black + white plaid scarf from Zara, which I've been adoring! These pictures were shot on an extremely chilly day, though it doesn't seem to look so in the photos somehow...

Emma

Recently I've tried to get back in to the swing of photographing again, although hectic to schedule in with everything else it is my favourite art medium...

70s Playground Fun

On a rather chilly afternoon mid January, two girls decided that it'd be a fun little idea to go on a little shoot. Though it was unplanned, at least on my half, the photos- thanks to Emma ended up not being too disastrous as they sometimes do. Post-school period, we hit up the little suburb of Oxford: Jericho- aka. hometown to the explosion of art- where I tried my best to rekindle my creativeness from all the January blues...

New/ Old Resolutions

So I'm a hundred percent late on this, but then again when am I not so there's no surprise there. Since it's a new year and all that fancy jazz, I thought perhaps I should write up a little (or not) list. Lists are one of my favourite things, they help me get things done for one and they can look super cute when written down...

To the Future + Beyond

Lately, I've been in a bit of a lazy daydream mode which I guess could be just another side effect of being a student- and dozed up on antibiotics due to the flu season. A perfect quote for a time like this would have to be: “You know that place between sleep and awake, that place where you still remember dreaming? That's where I'll always love you, Peter Pan. That's where I'll be waiting.” from an ever so nostalgic childhood film: Peter Pan of course (it's actually playing in the background, so I'm rather distracted whilst writing this)...
(warning!: extreme cloying (cheesy) new year sob below)
