Strasbourg, France: Part 2

As promised, here is the second part of the Strasbourg visit which I hope seems interesting some what- it was for me anyways. The journey was lovely and quick without any delays which made the ride much more enjoyable I thought. Here, as shown below, is the centre of Strasbourg which was full of vibrancy and people buzzing around as they soaked up the culture there. There were cafés at every turn and markets on every street. It was an absolutely stunning sight...

Strasbourg, France: Part 1

Just before I left to go back to England with my friend Charlotte we headed to Strasbourg, which is near the border of France and Germany. The trip took just under two hours which was great because it meant we had quite a lot of time visiting around the city and discovering little gems such as the cathedral and the markets scattered around...

Day in Oxford | 22.07.15

A while ago now, a few friends from Kingston upon Thames came to visit me! It was quite spontaneous and really fun, we had a great time. I showed them around various sites in Oxford, including Christ Church meadows and St John's College- one of my favs...

Evening Stroll

One evening whilst in Germany I was invited along with my friend Charlotte to a friend's party ( Julia). It was pretty cool as the setting was on a hill side and the view was so nice. We enjoyed a couple of drinks there and had a few conversations, it was pretty chilled for the most part- ish.

Schauinsland, Black Forest

A couple of days after I arrived in Freiburg I visited one of the iconic places nearby in the countryside called Schauinsland which is part of the Black Forest...

Arriving in Freiburg

On the 26th of July I arrived in Freiburg to visit one of my friends from primary school when I used to live there. It was a great opportunity because I got to explore more of Freiburg and practise my poor German language. Also I made friends with a couple of her mates which was fun and experienced the german culture and their parties a little too...

Titisee Lake, Freiburg

The day after I visited Colmar and Breisach I was lucky enough to visit Titisee, which is in a nearby village or town to Freiburg. It was such a lovely place and the weather was lovely, here are some photos from the trip...

Breisach + Colmar ( & Giveaway!)

Currently I’m in Freiburg enjoying the 30 degrees weather whilst writing this and listening to the Kooks. I’ve been here for nearly two weeks now and I leave on Saturday, however I’ve already been to so many different cities nearby including Colmar in France and Breisach in Germany- both quite near to Freiburg. Right now it’s the 2nd of August ( I like to write my blog posts a little ahead of time!) so I might also be visiting Straßburg on Thursday which will be great fun I believe...

TRUCK Festival

Finallyy- the truck post, here it is! It was just over 2 week ago that TRUCK festival was on, which was super fun. I went there with a few close friends, however loads of people from my school came which was great as I hadn't seen them for a while so it was nice to catch up...

On the river

Just before Truck Festival I had the eager to go punting, quite out of the blue, therefore impromptu I decided to arrange a quick day out. I ended up going with 4 other friends punting at the Magdalen boathouse and it was super fun!
