Currently I’m in Freiburg enjoying the 30 degrees weather whilst writing this and listening to the Kooks. I’ve been here for nearly two weeks now and I leave on Saturday, however I’ve already been to so many different cities nearby including Colmar in France and Breisach in Germany- both quite near to Freiburg. Right now it’s the 2nd of August ( I like to write my blog posts a little ahead of time!) so I might also be visiting Straßburg on Thursday which will be great fun I believe...
These photos were taking in the lovely village town of Colmar in France, which if you’re subscribed to my Youtube then you’d have seen Emma’s travel diary video on it a while back when she went on a European road trip. I think that Colmar is a beautiful city and definitely worth a visit! The architecture with all the colours really makes it stand out as a town. There are also a few pictures of Breisach, which is a nearby town in Germany.
The outfit I’m wearing is kindly incorporating pieces from Dress Link and Jolly Chic, which are both great cheap brands that are amazing for unique pieces or cheaper dupes of more expensive items. They have loads of items similar to American Apparel and also Urban Outfitters, as well as some basic pieces!
Dress Link is great for basics as well as dupes too, these shorts I’m wearing are very similar to the AA high waisted denim shorts I think and they fit really well. The quality seems pretty good and it was a decent price too!
The top was sent to me by Jolly Chic and is great quality, I decided to go up a size so it flows more however I think a tighter fit would’ve been also great. Jolly Chic is kindly also letting me host a giveaway for $20 on their website. All you guys have to do is:
- Follow my blog
- Follow my instagram ( jessicaa.lii)
- Subscribe to my Youtube (fashion aestheticss)
- Sign up to an account on Jolly Chic here
- Comment below that you’ve done these things and your email ( very important)!
Simply do all those things and I will choose a winner next week! I’ve also linked the clothing items if you’d like to check them out- it’s well worth having a look!
Colmar was the nicest town ever, it's nearby the France countryside so the landscape is to die for. Breisach is a German town that's super close to the border, it's also great with nice architecture and the best ice cream café ever! Plus both of these towns have really nice hot weather ( over 28 degrees when I went). It's a great place for a quick weekend get away or to catch some sun.
There'll be a couple more posts coming with photos of Germany, so look out for that! However that's all for now! Also good luck with the giveaway! :)
Ciao, Jess xx
